Expert Review Solid choice upper with heavy barrel with a2 flash hider and m-lok handguard - TRYBE Defense AR-15 5.56x45mm NATO Upper Receiver

Rugged-looking upper in 5.56 with heavy nitride barrel, A2 flash hider, M-Lok handguard, and basic BCG and charging handle. Runs like a champ. Gun keeps zero better than thin barrels when hot. Love that it eats all .223 and 5.56 loads. Handguard looks all business and is free-floated with anti-rotational tabs. BCG is machined nicely and all parts including the barrel clean well. Upper is 100% reliable with all loads. Have used this one with both a TRYBE 3X SLED Prism sight and a 4x ACOG with reticle for XM193 loads. Love the ACOG, a gold standard for sure, but pricey. The SLED 3x prism is as tough as this upper and seems like a good match. The whole rig is simple and easy with good performance and no drama. Cleans well but I keep it wet to prevent corrosion. 1 in 7 prefers heavier projectiles. Great value.
