Expert Review Perfect in my remington r-25 in .308 winchester - TRYBE Defense LR-308 DPMS .308 Complete Bolt Carrier Group (BCG)

I have this nickel-boron BCG in my Remington R-25 in .308 Winchester. I replaced the OEM blue BCG with the TRYBE nickel-boron version since the old bolt was getting sloppy and harder to clean. This one works like a silver jackhammer into my chamber, just perfectly. This gun is pretty big as carry guns go, and the bolt of a large frame AR is a hefty chunk of steel. This BCG has a beautiful silver finish and cleans easily after an outing. This is a hunting gun mostly, and a corrosion resistant BCG lets me get by with a bit less maintenance in the field than a nitride BCG. But for a build, the less-expensive nitride bolt may be the way to go. Oiling everything before and after use makes cleaning easy, especially with any number of modern CLP liquids.
