Yes, it will work with Aero's M5 uppers. We highly recommend head spacing the bolt when building an AR-10 piece by piece.

AR-10 aka Armalight, and Aeroprecision are high profile type all others are DPMS Low profile, bolt carriers don't interchange so how can this do both? Manufacturer Answer

The TRYBE AR-10 .308 BCG is the DPMS configuration. It is compatible with any upper that follows the DPMS pattern. However, It will not work with an Armalite upper.
