Definitely and improvement!!! Fits perfectly on a smith and wesson m amd p sport .22 ar-15. Makes it a breeze when a scope is mounted on top of the factory charging handle which is hard to get to for me. I would recommend this product.

This thing is great. Fit and performance is perfect. It’s all metal, I assume aluminum, b/c of the lightness. Zero issues after a few hundred rounds. I don’t notice any wear to the handle or the receiver either. Charge from either side, works perfect...
