Not Like The Others

Written on Sep 27, 2023

Not much to say, they're bullets, they work so far as I've only fired about 10 out of the box thru my 1911. I took a star off because the cases are brass and not nickel plated like a couple of other boxes of the same type that I own. I see that as SIG cutting corners but not a big deal I guess.

Looks good but works good, not so much.

I have this installed on a Odin Works upper and the installation was a breeze and the little rubber pads that keep it from slamming into the receiver was a nice little touch. My problem is that the thing does not like to stay closed, looked at wrong and it pops open. I own the Strike Ind. Ultimate Dust Cover for the .308 and another of my ARs and they work perfectly. This model seems to be a dud.

Good but not great

Written on Feb 11, 2022

I originally bought these for my AR-10 with a Aero Precision lower and they worked fine but I felt that the right selector was a bit too low profile for my likes and they were a bit on the sharp side due to the machining process(minor gripe). I moved them to my AR-15 with a generic lower with the bump stops above the selector and found that the left side would make contact with rear stop causing a slight amount of damage to the selector, it did not impede function but just be aware slight marring will occur(minor gripe).

Works as advertised

I have used this with PMAGS and Lancer Mags and it worked just fine for me although you do need to hold the mag in place. This item is made entirely of wood, I was under the impression it was made of plastic. I guess I should have paid better attention to the description but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

She's a Biggun

Really not much to say, it's a charging handle and it works. Nice fit and finish. It is a bit on the wider side, I would have preferred the latches to be a bit smaller but that's a small gripe. And as someone else said let it slam home when charging as the latches are a bit stiff, they may work better after some break in.

Good grip but...

Written on Jan 05, 2021

I've had this grip for awhile now and I wanted to really like it but I'm just not a fan of the rubber backing like I thought I was going to be. It feels a little to pliable for my liking which makes my purchase on the grip feel less secure but good for the recoil impulse though. It's also a little on the thick side for my medium-ish sized hands, those with larger hands may feel a bit more comfortable. I will look for another grip in the mean time but it's quite useable for now. With that being said it's not a bad grip just maybe not for me, your mileage may vary.

Its a charging handle.

There's not much to say I don't think, it's a light weight charging handle with polymer latches. Due to the latches being made of polymer it comes in at a cheaper price point than their all aluminum version. I was a bit leery about the latches but so far so good. I have the flat dark earth version and it matches my other fde furniture very well.
