I was having light primer strikes & replaced the stock firing pin with the Volquartsen SureStrike firing pin. The tip is about twice the size of the stock one. It absolutely cured the light hits.

Eliminate light strikes and misfires on the M&P 15-22. Our SureStrike Firing Pin will turn it back into the plinking machine you deserve.image

Our firing pin is CNC machined from S7 Tool Steel to withstand an unlimited amount of firing. It features a design with more material than factory to ensure hardhitting performance. We also adjusted the point of contact to cover more of the rim to help achieve positive ignition on every shot.
