Fixed light primer strike - Volquartsen Firearms SureStrike Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Firing Pin

I purchased this firing pin because I was having a light primer strike about every other round I fired. In the description it says the firing pin is slightly longer than the original. I measured the new fine pin and compared that measurement to the original firing pin. The new firing pin is exactly 0.050" thousands of an inch longer then the original one. This does not sound like a lot but believe me I looked at the spent shell casing and now I have a deep dimple in the rim of the cartridge as opposed to the factory firing pin that only slightly dimpled the rim. Now my gun goes Bang every time I pull the trigger no matter what ammo I use in the gun.
