Most Helpful Positive Review Fixed light primer strike
I purchased this firing pin because I was having a light primer strike about every other round I fired. In the description it says the firing pin is slightly longer than the original. I measured the new fine pin and compared that measurement to the original firing pin. The new firing pin is exactly 0.050" thousands of an inch longer then the original one. This does not sound like a lot but believe me I looked at the spent shell casing and now I have a deep dimple in the rim of the cartridge as opposed to the factory firing pin that only slightly dimpled the rim. Great Upgrade

I was having light primer strikes & replaced the stock firing pin with the Volquartsen SureStrike firing pin. The tip is about twice the size of the stock one. It absolutely cured the light hits.

Great solution to light primer strikes

Have tried multiple springs in my M&P 15-22 to lower the trigger pull, but was unable to find a combo that would reliably work with all types of ammo. I installed this ti firing pin and now I can even use the lightest JP springs and still have reliable ignition. Highly recommended!
