Yes, the model 3GL-STA-KNSPIC-AR-MCX-ADAP-W-FLANGE include the Flange. If you look at the MPN for the item, it indicates "AR/MCX Adap w/ Flange" to confirm that unit comes with it.

Could I use this with a sig 516 upper on a mill spec lower and what’s the flange no flange option

The KNS Precision AR15 Buffer to Picatinny Rail Adapter Kit will not work with a Sig 516 since that rifle uses a buffer assembly.

Will this adaptor work for a springfield saint victor lower or any basic ar-15. Or just for the sig ar??

No. The KNS Precision AR15 Buffer to Picatinny Rail Adapter Kit will not work with standard AR15 rifles. This kit eliminates the buffer tube and spring which is required to function for a standard AR15. This unit also incorporates a flange in the base of the picatinny plate that allows the use of a standard takedown pin, detent, and spring on traditional AR15 lower receivers.

The flange unit allows the use of standard takedown pins etc: **NOTE: This unit incorporates a flange in the base of the picatinny plate that allows the use of a standard takedown pin, detent, and spring on traditional AR15 lower receivers.

The flange is used to cover the hole for the spring that allows you to use a standard take down pin.

What is a flange? I want to purchase the correct one for my New Frontier C5 Lower receiver.

The New frontier C5 lower as its mil spec. It will accept any mil spec internal parts and fits mil spec upper receiver. So if its for an AR -15 you have to use the flange model. If you have another firearm that just has an AR stock adapter, you can use the non-flange one.

Can I use an AR15 end plate with either or both versions of this product? The end plate I use has a side loop for a sling that I need to keep.

This will replace your AR 15 end plate on either one so you will not be able to use the end plate for your sling.

Does this have the part that goes into the MCX upper to prevent smashing soley into buffer extension like the factory AR/MCX Adapter?

Unfortunately, this product will not work with a standard AR 15 lower and the MCX upper and is intended only for applications where the carrier and buffer tube do not protrude past the receiver ring.
