Regarding the 275 reticle, what load/bullet weight combination are the yardage marks based on?

The instruction manual includes loads from the .45cal 175gr using 100gr all the way .50 cal 348gr using 150grains. Basically, any popular muzzleloading load will be covered.

Does the scope come with the mounting brackets or do they have to be purchased seperatly?

No, the scope will not come with any of the mounting hardware. That is something you will need to verify specifically for your rifle and purchase separately.
