It would work fine with your upper, but the buffer is too long for your HBPDW brace. The buffer tubes for PDW braces and stocks are very short and require a short buffer to fit and operate. This buffer requires a standard carbine buffer tube (7" inside length) to operate properly. For the PDW stocks use the Kynshot RB5004 2.5" .308 buffer and a Sprinco .308 carbine buffer spring (Orange). The RB5004 buffer is lighter than optimal for 9mm but will function with short barrels (5.5" or less) and still give a better feel than a conventional buffer.
