I received an email from the manufacturer after inquiring about this product. They stated you'd need an adapter plate and a shim to make it fit flush

It only fits the Remington 870 and the mosberg 500

No, it won't fit. The VR80 has a buffer and spring that need to go into the buffer tube, and this buffer tube is not hollow.
