Sounds like this will bolt onto a rem870 right out of the box? What does it mean adapter required? Required for which platform?

This requires an AR buffer adapter to be installed on the shotgun. This system does not mount direct to a stock shotgun.

I have a lynx SDS12 semi auto 12 gauge. Ak set up with an AR stock adapted to it. Will this work if used in the empty buffer tube to offset recoil?

Can this be added to the Blackhawk Knoxx breaches grip? I realize that the the plug is locktited into the grip, but could it work?

Hello,
You can use the RB5100 with this grip, however, before purchasing I would verify with Blackhawk that the threads on their grip are mil-spec.
