NO! thos is not etched. when the battery is dead or powered off you just see glass!

NO!! THIS IS NOT A PRISM SIGHT!! who ever said yes is WRONG!!

I bought this because the answer said "yes" don't be fooled.. there is no ETCHED circle dot at all..

with that being said.. it is a great red/green CIRCLE DOT sight.. nice and clear when looked through. holds zero well.. (shot mounted on ruger PC9). I prefer just a dot only.. So this will probably move over to a 10/22 build..
