Leapers UTG does not provide the battery life of their 3.8in ITA Red/Green Circle Dot Sight w/Integral QD Mount. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information.

Is this an etched reticle red dot?

NO! thos is not etched. when the battery is dead or powered off you just see glass!

will it hold true center on a 7mm Mauser?

The manufacturer does not state if the Leapers UTG 3.8in ITA Red/Green Circle Dot Sight w/Integral QD Mount can withstand the recoil of a 7mm Mauser. I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm compatibility with that rifle.

This Leapers UTG 3.8in ITA Red/Green Circle Dot Sight features a 4 MOA target dot and a 62 MOA circle with 5 brightness settings.

The Leapers UTG 3.8in ITA Red/Green Circle Dot Sight w/Integral QD Mount has windage and elevation adjustments located under the caps on the top, and left side of the optic. You can use this guide to assist in the zero procedure.
