The Leapers UTG Ergonomic Ambidextrous 5-position Foregrips may not fit the rail on your shotgun if it is an out of spec picatinny accessory rail. Please email us at techsales@opticsplanet.com so we can get more information.

how does this attach to a m16 sporter

Expert Answer

Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on June 13, 2022

The Leapers UTG Ergonomic Ambidextrous 5-position Foregrip mounts to picatinny or weaver accessory rails. So if you have a plastic heat guard/ handguard on your M16 Sporter with not picatinny rail the Leapers UTG Ergonomic Ambidextrous 5-position Foregrip will not mount to it.

Yes, while this takes up the equivalent of about 5 slots, it will lock securely on a 3 slot rail.
