If you are adding the 15 in rail to a M&P sport, you have to replace the gas block?

The UTG Pro Arwen M-LOK Free Float Handguards are compatible with low profile gas blocks. If your M&P15 Sport has an A2 Front Sight/Gas Block you will need to replace it with a low profile gas block.

Will this fit over JP Adjustable Gas System? The total height is 1.4 on the gas block. 0.78 center to top, 0.62 center to bottom. Width is 0.89.

This handguard would fit that gas system. The fit though will be exceedingly tight though.
