This is some of the fit notes provided by Leapers for these handguards:

"Designed to Fit with Standard Gas Tube and Barrel Diameter Not Exceeding 1", Not Compatible with Piston System, Re-designed or Over-sized Upper Receivers"

It does. Superlative will clear almost every barrel nut. Their problem is clearance around the gas block. It is wider than a GI block and taller. It tends to contact the insides of the handguard. That said, I do have a 15" utg pro super slim handguard over a superlative carbine length gas piston clamp on conversion system. It fits, but with little clearance on the sides of the piston area.
