is this compatible with the Venom red dot?

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on August 12, 2022

The Leapers UTG MRO 1/3 Co-Witness Riser Mount is not compatible with the Vortex Venom. This mount is designed for the Trijicon MRO. You would need a mount that works with optics that use a Docter/Noblex footprint, like the BROWE Mini Red Dot 1/3 Co-Witness Mount, found by using the link below:

Will it work with sig Romeo msr red dot and make the red dot at lower 1/3 co-witness?

Answered by Mike B., member, from AL, United States, on August 06, 2021

Recommend using the UTG Super Slim 3 Slots Picatinny Riser Mount, 0.83" to raise the MSR for proper co-witness with standard height sights, including the Magpul BUIS and Troy Battlesights. Optics Planet has it (less than $10) at https://www.opticsplanet.com/leapers-utg-super-slim-picatinny-riser-mounts.html and select the 0.83" model.
