Will this Sight mount directly to a Picatinny rail?

No, it will not. However, it is compatible with Docter mounting footprints and should fit mounts for the Vortex Viper/Venom and Burris FastFire 2/3 optics.

Battery life? And can the auto-off be disabled?

The operating time is listed as 250 hours and there is no way to turn off the auto-off function of the red dot. It has a 4 hour time limit on the auto off.

I am a turkey hunter who is interested in the LeicaTempusASPh red dot sight. I use a Winchester Super X 2 shotgun. Which size dot do you suggest? Thx

Since rapid target acquisition will be more critical for you than precision targeting, we would recommend the larger 3.5moa dot.
