Is there any more clear explanation on the BDC system here? I watched video but I'm still on the fence over whether it's worth the extra hundo. — 1 Answer

The Leupold Freedom 1x34 Red Dot Sight with the BDC turret is used to accurately shoot common 55 grain .223 ammo out to 550 yards. So once you zero the Leupold Freedom 1x34 Red Dot Sight at 100 yards you will loosen the turret allowing you to set it back to zero without messing up its point of impact. Now that the sight is zeroed and the turret is reset you can dial the turret to the given distance you are shooting allowing for accurate shots.
