Is the duplex reticle as fat as it looks in the picture or is the picture just exaggerated?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on October 30, 2018

The image of the reticle is a bit exaggerated and is meant to show what it will look like. The actual view of the reticle will be finer.

Answered by Ethan C., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on December 23, 2017

These scopes have MIL adjustments. However for some reason Leupold only lists the adjustment values in MOA. The range for elevation is 56moa and the range for windage is 52moa.

Is this a second focal plane or ffp

A
Answered by Keeper, member, from WA, United States, on July 08, 2019

Hi
The Mark AR Mod 1 series of riflescopes have their reticles placed in the rear, or 2nd, focal plane allowing them to subtend correctly at the maximum magnification power of the scope.
Thank You.

The elevation turret is calibrated for 55 grain .223/5.56 projectiles, but it is still a .1 MIL adjustment so it can definitely be used on almost any rifle platform including any AR-10.

Yes, you can as that is the way the turret is designed to be used. The BDC dial is for a .223/5.56, 55gr FMJ projectile with a muzzle velocity of 3100 FPS.
