The Leupold Open Range Cross-Slot Rings are made from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum. They feature milled-in recoil lugs and low-profile keeper screws.

What base would I need with these rings to mount to my 30 RUM

Yes, you would need to use the High height (MPN:180948) Leupold Open Range Cross-Slot Rings in order to allow for clearance of your objective lens.

will this rings work on Marlin 25 22 LR rifle using Leupold VX freedom 3-9X40 scope

These rings are for a scope with a 30mm tube, your scope has a 1" and therefore will not be compatible with these rings. Also these rings will not mount to the dovetail of your rifle. Please email us at TechSales@OpticsPanet.com for scope ring recommendations.
