Without much knowledge of rangefinders, what do the “W” and “E” on the top left of the of the display mean?

The W stands for Wind and the E stands for Elevation in the display of the Leupold RX-1400i TBR/W with DNA Rangefinders. These displays can be switched back and forth when selecting different modes.
