What size ocular butler creek flip up covers and what size objective BC flip up size? — 4 Answers

The specs show both ends of the VX-Freedom 2-7x33 to be 1.56". At first I used Butler Creek size 15 objective, 30150, 1.558", and for the eye, size 11, 20110, 1.55". I didn't push them all the way on. One size up in either one /might/ work. Some people mention needing tape to shim larger sizes. (I'm planning to try a size 11 or 13 eye on the objective end because the one made for the objective end opens too easily.)

I just put a Butler Creek #11 eyepiece cap on both ends. I prefer that over the #15 objective cap, which would fit both ends as well.
