Although it does not say so on the box, is this nickel plated brass? The casings appear to be nickel plated.

Liberty Ammunition does not state if the Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense .45 Long Colt case is nickel plated brass though it appears to be. I recommend contacting Liberty Ammunition to confirm that information.

Will this be a good defensive round out a Bond Arms 3.5 snakeslayer? What length Barrel are the ballistics done on this ammo?

The manufacturer does not state what test barrel length was used with the testing of this ammo. For that information I recommend contacting Liberty Ammunition. This ammo should also work fine with a Bond Arms Snakeslayer.

The Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense .45 Long Colt 78 grain Hollow Point Centerfire Pistol Ammunition will work in a revolver chambered in 45 Long Colt.

yep...safe pressure standard for this round..most any round will work..just avoid the +p's

can this ammo be used in a T/C gen 3 contender with a 45 L/C and .410 shot shell barrel with an insert?

now personally..i haven't heard of this model....but i'm guessing its similar to the 45/410 Judge....so yes being that this is a standard pressure round..this bullet will be fine...just avoid using +p rounds
