Are the sight guts in this made of steel or aluminum? Could someone test the windage and elevation knobs with a magnet and let me know, please?

Yes. The Lion Gears Quick Detachable Light Weight Rifle Carry Handle will allow for the use of carry handle mounted optics as it utilizes the same dimensions as a Mil-spec carry handle in regards to its picatinny/weaver mounting deck.

Those specific specifications are not published by the manufacturer. This will take up the entire top rail of a mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver.

Does it have a positive locking anti-recoil cross block and are the cross bolts mil-spec picattiny or weaver the weavers moves up n down on my S&W MPT

This is listed as picatinny and weaver compatible. If properly tightened down, this should not have play in any direction.
