The Luth-AR 308/223 Rifle Buttstock Extension Tube does not include the 3/8" spacer for an A2 stock.

Is this tube also considered to be compatible with the Magpul UBR Gen2?

The Magpul UBR Gen II is compatible with carbine as well as A5 and SR25 length buffer systems. This is an A2 buffer tube and will not be compatible. I would recommend the Bravo Company MFG Intermediate Receiver Extension A5 Buffer Tube found using the following link:

my original buffer tube was shorter, supporting an adjustable but stock. Do I need a longer spring to accommodate the longer tube? If so which one?

Yes. You will need to use an A2 compatible buffer spring in order for your rifle to function properly. You can purchase the spring by itself, or the spring and buffer combo. I will link my recommendations below:

This is only the A2 extension tube, the spring and buffer are not included.
