Is the barrel dimpled under the gas block for eady alignment of the gas tube allen set screw holes?

The barrel is dimpled for the gas block set screws and is lined up and test fired from the factory.

Will this also handle 5.56

The Luth-AR .223 Bull Rifle Kit is chambered in .223, and would not be able to fire 5.56 safely. With a 5.56 stamped barrel, you can fire both 5.56 and .223 safely. A barrel chambered/stamped in .223, can only use .223.

This Luth-AR .223 Bull Rifle Kit should not be used with 5.56. A barrel chambered in 5.56 can safely use both .223 and 5.56. The same applies for barrels in .223 Wylde. You can find out more from this how-to guide that explains the differences between 5.56 and .223:
