The Mesa Tactical adapters use a carbine style buffer tube. The MBA-1 stock uses a rifle buffer tube, the MBA-1 stock would not fit.
The weight of the stock itself is the same for a 308 and 223. The spring and buffer will be the items that are different between the two calibers.
Depending on what stock or stock kit you pick it can come either way.
The MDT LSS Gen 2 chassis has a back end that uses a carbine style AR buffer tube. You would need an MBA-3 stock for that tube.
The Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly for both .223 and .308 use a rifle length buffer tube. The only differences are the weight of the buffers.
VLTOR does not specify if the M1A Stock is compatible with AR buttstocks. I recommend contacting VLTOR to confirm compatibility.
The Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly mounts to a rifle length buffer tube.
Yes, the Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly will work with an AR10 Lower Extension.
The Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly will not fit a Ruger Precision Rifle because the Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly is only compatible with an A2 buffer tube. The Luth-AR MBA-3 Carbine Buttstock at the link below will fit a Ruger Precision Rifle.

The Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly will not fit a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube used with standard AR collapsible stocks. The Luth-AR MBA-1 Stock Assembly is compatible with A2 stock assemblies. If you have a collapsible stock and carbine buffer tube an MBA3 or MBA4 will need to be purchased.
