On a Ruger AR 556 Model 8500, does this handguard obstruct the QD socket under the front sight/gas block?

The Magpul Industries MOE Carbine Length AR-15/M4 M-LOK Handguard will not block to QD mount on the front sight gas block of that rifle.

The Magpul Industries MOE Carbine Length AR-15/M4 M-LOK Handguard is 7.1" long. It could work with an 11" carbine if it uses a A2 front sight gas block with delta ring and round or triangular front hand guard retaining caps.

This replaces the entire handguard. No this will not fit the Sig Tread m400.
