That completely depends on factory forend is on your Shockwave. If you have one of the round forends that has no attachment holes then no this will not fit that. Your forend would need to have M-Lok slots on it to accommodate this adapter. If you don't have a M-Lok slots, then this adapter is not going to work.
This adapter can be used for that purpose, but you could also just use a standard m-lok picatinny rail adapter. You do not need to remove the handguard to install this adapter.
