Some non-performance center M&amp;P’s have slides cut for red dots. Is this the same as a C.O.R.E. slide? Will this fit on any slide cut for red dots?

From a quick check on S&amp;W website, it looks like they discontinued a lot of model using the C.O.R.E dovetail cut. It does not match the M&amp;P footprint as the C.O.R.E dovetail is much thinner than the M&amp;P&#039;s. So for this it will vary on the model you have, but overall the C.O.R.E sights will not fit on a standard M&amp;P dovetail and vice versa.
