Some non-performance center M&P’s have slides cut for red dots. Is this the same as a C.O.R.E. slide? Will this fit on any slide cut for red dots?

From a quick check on S&W website, it looks like they discontinued a lot of model using the C.O.R.E dovetail cut. It does not match the M&P footprint as the C.O.R.E dovetail is much thinner than the M&P's. So for this it will vary on the model you have, but overall the C.O.R.E sights will not fit on a standard M&P dovetail and vice versa.

What is the height of the front sight from top of slide to top of sight, and rear sight also?
