Is this charging handle Gen 2 ? Supposedly the 2nd gen works better than the 1st and much sturdier

Yes, this Manticore Arms X95 Switchback Charging Handle is compatible with the Tavor X95. It will work on both sides of your X95.

How many inches of the stock picatinny rail does it cover when flipped forward?

Manticore Arms states this will work on the X95, they do not include any other platforms as being compatible.

The X95 Switchback Charging Handle does not fit the Tavor SAR, but that is the only note they provide regarding compatibility.
