NO this will not work with the SB Tactical PDW brace. Since it is set up for only their own CQB series stock and brace kits.

I can confirm that this product DOES work with the SB Tactical HBPDW brace. If the regular PDW brace uses the same buffer tube, then it will also work.

Per Maxim Defense's website: "The PDW Brace is compatible with all Maxim Defense CQB series buffer systems."

Discovered it works with my EMG Helios Strike Industries Licensed PDW brace perfectly fine with the heavy and a cmmg 9mm bcg and barrel

Yes, it will work with the SB tactical PBW brace and despite what the description says about not removing the weighted plug inside a 9mm bolt, that is exactly what you must do make it fit. Keep in mind the fact you are removing a reciprocating weight from the bolt and get a heavy weight buffer on the JP SCS. They don’t make an extra heavy 9mm weighted SCS but I believe you may be able to buy additional tungsten weights from JP if the 9mm buffer is not heavy enough. But typically it will be heavy enough for most 9mm builds.

I have a foxtrot 5” pistol AR in 45acp. Would your PDW stock work and what weight buffer would you need.
