will this work on a ruger precision rifle without modification?

Yes, these models of the MDT Elite Vertical Grips are designed to be compatible with any rifle or pistol that accepts standard AR15 style pistol grips. Since the Ruger Precision Rifle uses AR15 style grips, it will fit without modification.

Yes, these MDT Elite Vertical Grips feature a pocket for the detent spring in the top of the grip for a standard AR10/15 safety and is compatible with these rifles and pistols.
