I have a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 creedmoore. I’m interested in your system, but the link to the install video is missing. Will I also need the special magazine if my rifle came with the update magazine from Ruger instead of the 3 round rotary?

The MDT LSS-XL Gen2 Chassis System for Carbine Stock Ruger American do not come with a buttstock. These chassis are compatible with any AR15 Carbine stock and accept both Mil-Spec and Commercial buffer tubes. So the LOP will depend on what AR15 stock you use with the MDT LSS-XL Gen2 Chassis System.

I know the 6.5creedmoor is short action but the barrel is 18" without the muzzle break from UM Tactical I use adding 2" will this still work?

The MDT LSS-XL Gen2 Chassis System for Carbine Stock Ruger American weighs between 1.6 - 2.0 pounds depending on the specific model. The chassis will accept most AR15 pistol grips, accommodates AICS style magazines, and accommodates barrels up to 1.350" in diameter. The action screw is located directly above the magazine lever. This means that the magazine lever needs to be installed AFTER installing the action into the chassis.

Yes. The MDT LSS-XL Gen2 Chassis System for Carbine Stock Ruger American will fit your rifle. keep in mind the action screw is located directly above the magazine lever. This means that the magazine lever needs to be installed AFTER installing the action into the chassis.
