will this work in a ruger mark 1 ?

No, the Mec-Gar USA Inc Magazine for Ruger MKIII .22 LR 10 Round Magazine only fits Mark III and Mark IV model pistols. However, we do carry the OEM Ruger Mark 1 magazine which can be found by using the link below:

Will this magazine work with the gen 4 ruger

Yes, Ruger Mk III magazines will also work in Mk IV pistols (but not in the 22/45 versions of those pistols).
