No, the R1 models listed here are meant for the Enhanced with the Novak style rear sight.

Sorry, Armando: this is INDEED the correct sight for the Standard 5" R1 Government Model. This has the Remington proprietary rear sight cut, NOT the Novak-style as on the Enhanced Models: I now know as I have both.

Actually, to the contrary Armondo R, this IS the correct sight for the Standard R1 sight cut, and NOT for the Novak rear (as on my Enhanced Commander). Just received it yesterday and waiting to try it out at the range.

I have a 9MM ATI GFX GI 1911. The dovetail is standard GI cut. And the R1 sight did fit natively into my gun. So any 1911 with a GI cut dovetail will work. The NOVAK cut will not work for this. Has to be standard GI cut dovetail.
