This sight post should mount into the Magpul MBUS sights, those sights use the standard A2 sight post.

This does not PROPERLY fit the Magpul MBUS Gen 2 front sight - the portion of the detent which prevents the front post from rotating is not tall enough to also retain the upper disc, which the post is part of. The MBUS detent will hold the base to which the post assembly is connected, but will not keep the post from rotating, so your dot may not always be visible.
