This Midwest Industries Mi Hk Mp5 Top Rail is designed for 9mm receivers and may cause fitment issues with other calibers. I would recommend using the Midwest Industries MP5 Optic Picatinny Top Rail, which is compatible with the .22LR model, and can be found by using the link below:

I just received the MI top rail today, and can confirm that it fits the HK MP5 22LR. Successful installation does require the longer screw set that was provided, and it's a very solid mounting platform with zero wiggle room.
