There are 2 different models to choose from on the product page, the AR-15 and AR-10.

Will the 308/ar10 version of this work with a CMMG Banshee mk47? It basically uses a cut down ar10 bcg. I also verified the chamber lug alignment.

Since the CMMG Banshee MK47 is a unique rifle platform that is closer to AR10 dimensions the Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod AR10 model may work. However, I recommend contacting Midwest Industries to confirm compatibility.

Anybody know if the ar-10 urr version will work on the Rock River LAR-8?

We have not tested one on the LAR-8. I doubt it will as the LAR-8 is an armalight pattern rifle not a dpms.

Will the AR15 version work with a Banshee mk17 (9mm)? If not is there a similar product that will?

The Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod will not work with an MK17 Banshee in 9mm. There is currently not a model available for a 9mm receiver.

The Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod AR10 model will work with DPMS LR308 and AR10 308 rifles. So it should work fine with an M&P10 .308.
