The Mission First Tactical Scorched Dark Earth is brighter and more vibrant than the Flat Dark Earth from Magpul. Unfortunately just about every manufacturer uses a different shade for their FDE style colors, so matching them up is nearly impossible.

As long as your S&W M&P15 rifle is one of the drop-in handguard models, this should fit your gun. It will not work if your rifle is one of the free-float handguard models.
