What are the details on the red dot? On/off, settings, mount type, battery hours, etc.?

The NcSTAR Ultimate Sighting System Gen II 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope w/ 1x Micro Red Dot Sight features a 2 MOA micro red dot sight with a 23.5X16.8mm optic window. An on/off switch is located on the back side of the red dot sight. It mounts to the scope via two screws that are installed on the top-side of the red dot sight. Battery life is not provided by the manufacturer. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information.

A CR2032 battery will be provided for the scope, and a CR1632 will be provided for the micro red dot.

will this work on my AK-47

The NcSTAR Ultimate Sighting System Gen II 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope will mount to picatinny rail systems, so as long as you have a picatinny rail it would fit. However, this optic may not be able to withstand the recoil from your rifle, I would recommend using a Holosun branded red dot sight with a low mount for an AK platform rifle.

Both models of the NcSTAR Ultimate Sighting System Gen II 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope w/ 1x Micro Red Dot Sight have reticles designed for use with 55 grain 5.56x45mm ammo.

The NcSTAR Ultimate Sighting System Gen II 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope w/ 1x Micro Red Dot Sight is designed for used on an AR Platform. The NcSTAR Ultimate Sighting System Gen II 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope w/ 1x Micro Red Dot Sight mounts to picatinny rail and will mount to the top of an AR receiver. It also has a BDC reticle designed for use with 5.56 ammo.

The base plate isn’t available separately, it only comes with the USS combo.
