The model you need would depend on the overall length of your gun. The measurements listed are the internal dimension, so you would just need whichever one is closest to your overall length.

I have two Henry rifles. A 22LR that is 34" long and a 22Mag that is 37 1/2" long. What size cases will I need?

These cases are measured by outside length, so you lose about an inch or so inside. The 36" case should fit your 34" gun, and you would need the 40" case for the 37 1/2" gun.
