Can you see through the mount to use the standard iron sights?

Would recommend to anyone trying to modernize their SKS. Took me about 45 mins to file down, I took my time so it fits very tight.This cover also has a "peep" hole where you can use your iron sights very easily.

No. The NcSTAR Tactical SKS Scope Mount With Weaver Tri-rail Replaces the existing SKS receiver cover for SKS rifles only.

Will this fit the Yugoslavian SKS?

Yes. The NcSTAR Tactical SKS Scope Mount With Weaver Tri-rail is manufactured slightly longer by a few thousandths, so that it can be hand fitted to the various manufacturers of the SKS rifles. Although Some handfitting may be required for a secure fit.
