This front sight is .140" in width while the A2 is roughly .070" in width.

It should fit the Magpul MBUS front sight but not the MBUS Pro sight.

I know you can adjust elevation, but how do you keep the dot forward when you adjust clicks up/down? Also, does it work with Magpul MBUS?

For each adjustment up and down, you would have to do a full rotation so that the tritium is facing you again. It is compatible with the Magpul MBUS front sights.
