What is the temperature range for this product?

These have an operating range of -60°F to 120°F, or -51°C to +52°C.

Do they work in total darkness & or in the woods ? If so how clear would they be ? Would it be like looking through fog ?

NV N00b here, so pls forgive the dumb question. Can one walk around with these effectively? My concern is feild of view, stumbling and/or disoriented.

This has a 40 degree field of view, so you will have to look around a bit to ensure your immediate surroundings as you traverse terrain.

What mounting systems works with this item?

This PVS-7 uses a standard bayonet/horn style mil-spec mount. There are a variety of companies that makes mounts that would work, but one of the best is the Wilcox L4 G11.

Is this a traditional green image or the white phosphorus view?

This is the traditional intensifier tube that produces a black/green image.

What is the description of the “mil spec” headgear that’s included? Newer high cut, older PASGT?

This is not a helmet cut headset, it's designed to fit your head without a helmet. For a helmet mount you would need a different adapter depending on the helmet you are trying to mount it on.
