This has a 40 degree field of view, so you will have to look around a bit to ensure your immediate surroundings as you traverse terrain.

What mounting systems works with this item?

This PVS-7 uses a standard bayonet/horn style mil-spec mount. There are a variety of companies that makes mounts that would work, but one of the best is the Wilcox L4 G11.

This is not a helmet cut headset, it's designed to fit your head without a helmet. For a helmet mount you would need a different adapter depending on the helmet you are trying to mount it on.
