What ring hight do I need to mount this on a USMC M40A1 with 20 MOA base

Either the .885 Low A118 or the usually more comfortable 1.0 Medium A101 will work. The .885 may have some interference with the bolt throw and the eyepiece lens cap.

What rings would work for a Springfield M1A?

This would depend on your mounting system. Generally a ring like A203 XTRM - Ring Set - 1.5" XX-High - 30mm - Ultraliteâ„¢, 4 screw would work.

Whats a good set of rings for Aero precision 6.5 creedmoor?

Manufacturer Answer

Answered by NightForce, Manufacturer from GA, United States, on June 01, 2022

On an AR style platform we recommend 1.5" high rings or mounts. Our most common recommendation for your application would be the A221 Unimount if you want 20 MOA in the mount, or the A496 Unimount with 0MOA.

This optic does indeed come with front and rear flip caps. As for the ring height, if you are using Nightforce Rings, I would recommend using our 1.375" High Rings to make sure you have plenty of clearance between the objective and the hand guard of the MPR.
